Investment in new vehicles boosts BPC Building Products warehouse and distribution capability.
Wakefield-based builders’ metalwork manufacturer BPC has invested in a new fleet of delivery and warehouse vehicles. The move comes after a successful 2018 that saw a 20% increase in turnover and culminated with BPC becoming part of the Vista Engineering group of companies.
The investment is the first of several over the coming months, with further spending on new machinery and equipment planned for later in the year. Commenting on the new vehicle fleet and planned investment, BPC Managing Director Gareth Simister said:
“This heralds a commitment in 2019 to investments that will allow us to significantly increase manufacturing capacity, further improve our delivery standards and increase our distribution capabilities so we can continue to offer market leading service and quality across the full product range. Added to the expanded product range and technical support that come from being part of the Vista Group, it makes this an exciting time for our company and all its customers.”
